Jack Pine is searching for someone to join our production team. We have an immediate opening for a part time Brewery Assistant. This person will split their time between cleaning and packaging in the brewery and performing outside deliveries on established routes. This is an entry-level position. We are looking for a reliable person with flexible hours.
The right person will have a high attention to detail and an eagerness to learn new tasks. An interest in the sciences, specifically biology, chemistry, or physics, would be beneficial, but not required.
The delivery route will require early mornings and up to 14 hour days when delivering to the metro accounts. This occurs once every 2-3 weeks.
Production help will be primarily daytime hours.

Reports to: Production Manager
Availability: Available as-needed to aid in brewery production and wholesale delivery. Delivery route will require early mornings and long days, up to 14 hours.
Hours: 20-36 hours a week, based on production seasonal need.
Job Duties: Assist brewing staff in all aspects of keg cleaning, kegging, canning, and general cleaning duties. Deliver beer on established self-distribution routes in the Metro and Moorhead territories. Additional duties may include, but are not limited to; tank cleaning, tank transfers, taproom orders, shipping and receiving of products and raw materials, as directed by the brewing staff.

Must have a safe driving record and be able to follow an established delivery route. Delivery route will require early mornings and up to a 14 hour work day. Ability to work independently is required.
Must have a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to a variable schedule and workload. Must be willing to follow directions and consistently complete repetitive tasks. Capable of lifting 60 lbs on a regular basis and maneuvering up to 160 lbs often. Knowledge of beer is not required, but a willingness and interest to learn, is. (Must be 21 years of age or older).
