Spare Parts Hazy IPA

Spare Parts Hazy IPA was brewed to honor a good friend, scientist, musician, and all-around wonderful person.
He was a kidney recipient and also participated in an ongoing clinical trial in which the end goal is to allow a life without the need for immunosuppressants.  While the treatment did not succeed and he passed away about a year after his transplant, his participation in the study may lead to a breakthrough someday in the future.  A selfless person and a brilliant scientist to the end.  This beer was brewed in his honor and to encourage anyone and everyone to become an organ donor.  After all, what good are your bits and pieces when you're gone?

In the end, we're all just spare parts.
